Rafael Nadal to front Tommy Hilfiger's fall-2015 campaigns

The American apparel retail company Tommy Hilfiger has signed on the Spanish tennis champion Rafael Nadal as the face of its upcoming innerwear and tailored clothing lines for the fall-2015 season.

The men’s intimatewear collection will be a re-interpreted version of the classic styles replete with modernized fits, fabrics and detailing. The tailored range will include clothing with sharp silhouettes, modern cuts and vivid textures.

According to the newly signed partnership deal, the 28-year-old tennis player will not only appear in the brand’s campaigns but also will attend the global retailer’s launch event in North America, Europe and Asia.

The advertisement will be shot in Spain sometime during early 2015 and would be released internationally in fall 2015.

Founded in 1985, Tommy Hilfiger specializes in men’s, women’s and children’s apparels, sportswear and denim. The company has headquarters in Cheung Sha Wan (Hong Kong), New Jersey (US) and Amsterdam (Netherlands).

Currently ranked world No. 3, Rafael Nadal has won 14 Grand Slam singles titles and is widely regarded as the finest clay court player in history. (PB)
