Interfiliere Hong Kong to highlight day & night intimates

The trend forum at the forthcoming intimates and swimwear trade show Interfiliere Hong Kong will focus on three themes based on daywear and nightwear concepts.
The event will highlight the latest women’s Autumn/Winter 2016/2017 innerwear creations for sport-centric and everyday purposes alongside a gorgeous display of sensual decorated fabrics and prototypes for dressy occasions at night.
The theme Modern By Day will introduce new knit and weave textures in loungewear and intimates categories. The Festive BY Night will focus on innovative colour combinations and festive appropriate pieces. The Aromatic Flowers theme will showcase an array of modern ensembles replete with romantic embroideries, superfine yarns and new scales.
In addition to the forums exhibiting lingerie, loungewear, nightwear fabrics and accessories, the trade event will also include an exclusive area dedicated to functional and sporty garments for everydaywear and semi-sport leisure activities like yoga and relaxation.
Also the trade fair’s organizer, Eurovet, in collaboration with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Fashion design department of Taiwan Shih Chien University and Concepts Paris will showcase cutting-edge lingerie prototypes in the sportswear category.
These prototypes, which will be exhibited at the forums as well as through a mini fashion show, will illustrate functional sport basics for a personalized look, multi-functional yogawear, and sports and lounge apparels.
According to the organisers, sport is a rapidly growing segment and offers a huge potential for intimates and swimwear specialists from designers to garment makers. To bring more flavour to the sport and leisure wardrobe, designers have started adding glamorous touches with floral and shiny effects. Brands like Lululemon, Sweaty Betty, VSX, Nike and Victoria’s Secret have all launched performance driven intimates in the recent past.
