Arrays of Autumn/Winter 2015 designs, created by a talented army of Scandinavian and international names, graced the catwalk during the just concluded Danish fashion celebration Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Ole Yde, the namesake designer behind local label YDE, featured a luxury modern collection made using fur, sequins and flowing yards of chiffon. Replete with 1960’s inspired geometric lines and 1920’s style flapper dress-inspired dropped waist silhouettes, the range presented dainty, fairylike dresses in shades of black and white along with sprinkles of neutral tones.

The international high-end fashion brand By Malene Birger showcased a functional line with classy edgy looks. Enhanced with delicate graphic details, interesting silhouettes and animal prints, the collection featured clean, structured sweaters, cosy turtlenecks and flowing calf-length skirts.

Menswear label Henriksilvius’s new runway presentation Frozen Echo was created in tonal shades of grey, blue and black. The standouts from the line included metallic jumpsuits, straight cut high-waist dress pants with split hems, and classic-meets-contemporary outerwear pieces like long grey woollen overcoats, furry short sleeved jackets and charcoal hued hooded sweatshirts.

Men’s couture label Jean//phillip stayed true to its signature minimalistic aesthetics and womenswear elements with the new ready-to-wear creations. Designed using monochromatic tones, vivid textures and a variety of fabrics, the pieces were short-sleeved jumpsuits, mesh singlets, long loose-knit hoodies, oversized shirts, drop crotch pants, biker jackets and huge outerwear ensembles.

Faroese brand Barbara í Gongini infused a very laid-back mood in its clothes. Incorporated with layering and flowing silhouettes, contemporary tailoring, constructive shapes and structures, the line was crafted from boiled thick wool, fur, leather, jersey, ripped hand-knits, re-worked denim, textured linen and graphic silk, all based in varying tones of deep black, grey and white.
