The young emerging London Fashion Week designer Jackie JS Lee has teamed up with Yorkshire textile mill Hainsworth for her new Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

The range has been made using off white heavyweight Duffle, navy and black Earthy Hues Meltons and white Doeskin fabrics from the heritage cloth maker.

Replete with cold graphic linear edging and strong monochrome shapes overlapped onto tartan brushed mohair, the line features some 23 key looks consisting of 42 staple core wardrobe essentials like minimally tailored classic outerwear, oversized knitwear, shift dresses, textured skirts and trouser suits.

Commenting on the collaboration, Seoul-born Lee said in a media communication, “I find Hainsworth fabric to be the best quality. It is so important to celebrate British heritage brands whilst retaining manufacturing within the UK.”

The mill’s MD Tom Hainsworth said, “It is the first time we have collaborated with Jackie and we’re delighted that she has used our cloth in so much of her stunning new collection. She is also using our labels and swing tickets on her garments.” (PB)
