Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week to kick off from March 31

The upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 season showcase of Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week is due to take place from March 31st to April 3rd, 2015 in Karachi.

The Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) organised event will see exquisite creations from names like Nida Azwer, Lala Textiles, Sania Maskatiya, Fnkasia, Zaheer Abbas, Deepak Perwani, Aamna Aqeel and Shamaeel Ansari.

In addition to the well-known names, students from two Pakistani institutions including Rimsha Shakir and Shehza Azhar from Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture as well as Hasan Riaz and Momal Zia from Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design will showcase their creativity at the Rising Talent Show.

While announcing the schedule and designer line-up, Sanam Chaudhri, chairperson of FPC, said in a media statement, “Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week is going to provide not only an opportunity to the fashion designers of our country to bring into limelight their latest collections but also act as a pedestal of fame for the upcoming talent.”

Wardha Saleem, CEO Fashion Pakistan, said, “We are looking forward to this year’s Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week with a certain kind of fervour, which is to be experienced when you have such great designers on board. The event is bound to take Karachi by storm with the great Pakistani fashion industry bringing its best to the table.”

This is the first time Telenor, a global company that specialises in voice, data, content and communication services, will play as title sponsor of the Pakistani fashion event. Commenting on the association, Khawaja Shariq Mustafa, mass marketing director at Telenor Pakistan, said, “We here at Telenor Pakistan believe in promoting and encouraging new talent from around the country. Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 provides Pakistani fashion designers a unique platform to achieve their aspirations while furthering the Telenor ideal of ‘Realizing Possibilities’.
