Fashion Pakistan Week, one of the premiere platforms organised by Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) that showcase Pakistani design creativity, will host its Winter/ Festive 2015 edition from October 1 to 3, 2015 in the city of Karachi.

The event will feature an array of garments, created by a mix of both well-known and up and coming fashion names, fit to be worn to various occasions including weddings, balls, events and parties.

“Fashion Pakistan Week Winter/Festive 2015 is going to be an event worth remembering, with a multitude of gifted designers, we are expecting the coming season to be more successful,” Sanam Chaudhri, chairperson of FPC, said while announcing the schedule.

Wardha Saleem, CEO of the event, said, “We are looking forward to the Autumn-Winter show with a growing eagerness, since winters in Pakistan are synonymous with festivity, it will be a strong and relevant platform for designers to showcase their luxury prêt and formal wear collections. We are very excited and looking forward to another groundbreaking event.”

The recently concluded Spring/Summer 2015 instalment of Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week featured creations from 30 designers such as Nida Azwer, Sania Maskatiya, Zaheer Abbas, Deepak Perwani, Aamna Aqeel and Shamaeel Ansari.

Fashion Pakistan is a part of the Council of International Fashion Designers, which was created with a vision to promote and support Pakistani fashion globally. The event represents a major segment of the design fraternity working together to encourage and facilitate the development and growth of local fashion industry and make it competitive in international markets by building on relationships with domestic and overseas buyers, establishing and strengthening ties with foreign designers.
