Megha & Jigar's White Summer 2015 combines ease & glamour

Designer duo Megha and Jigar bridged the gap between ease and glamour with their latest White Summer 2015 collection, showcased at the just wrapped up fourth instalment of India Runway Week (IRW).

Combining the elements of style and luxury, the designers infused vivid textures, colours and their understanding of fabrics into the line that represents modish global trends as preferred by the freedom-loving modern woman of today.

“This collection aims to break the barriers of habitual couture wear, rather it focuses more on the style, which matters the most. The outfits in this collection impart an altogether unsullied femininity. Bathed with metal embroideries, the garments are idyllic for as I’ve used a lot of textured and soft fabrics,” the duo revealed while speaking on the range in a press release.

Playing with shades inspired by hues of water and texture of waterfall such as white, turquoise green and gold, the assortment is enhanced with embroideries that create a vibrant visual impact as well as rich embellishments done with pearls, metals, beads and crystals.

Bringing together the playful act of colours and designs, Megha and Jigar displayed a chic couture collection embellished with voguish depiction for the modern woman at the New Delhi fashion event, which was organised by Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) to highlight new comers, budding and generation-next designers on a unique platform.
