ArcSoft introduces new feature Style it! on Perfect365 app

Californian photo and video imaging software development company ArcSoft has added a new fashion-based feature named ‘Style it!’ to its popular smartphone makeover app Perfect365, which allows users to customise and enhance their looks on a selfie.
The latest feature enables users to develop a cohesive head-to-toe look in their pictures by recommending clothing, shoes and accessories that can perfectly complement the app’s various innovative makeup options.
Announcing the new digital tool, Caroline Tien-Spalding, senior director of Product Marketing, ArcSoft, said in a media statement, “As Perfect365 has become the app millions of users turn to for inspiration, we’re thrilled to lend our expertise to inspiring fashion choices as well. By coordinating clothing, shoes and accessories with our makeup looks, we are now the first app to offer users head-to-toe digital makeovers with just one tap.”
With more than 100 pieces combined in an endless array of outfits encompassing a wide range of trends, including effervescent and natural, edgy and club-ready, as well as the timeless old-Hollywood glam, the feature allows users to view each ensemble by selecting one of the endless choices available on Hotstyle one-tap makeovers.
In addition to Style it!, two new bridal makeover packages have also been introduced on the app store. Custom-designed by Perfect365’s in-house beauty experts, each set of the four Hotstyles offers several wedding-ready makeup looks. Along with flower crowns, headbands and boho-chic hair pieces, brides-to-be can now experiment with various colour palettes and makeup styles.
Available only for iOS, Android and Windows 8 devices, Perfect365 works by using ArcSoft’s Face Detection technology that can quickly map a person’s eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and hairline on a selfie. This helps users to create flattering, realistic makeovers with Hotstyle options inspired by today’s hottest styles, timeless looks or natural palettes. Users can also customise their looks with nearly 20 tweaking tools that whiten teeth, brighten eyes and banish blemishes. (PB)
