A new space dedicated to the cultural object and gift market, MAISON&OBJET musées can be discovered at MAISON&OBJET, in Mezzanine Hall 6.

MAISON&OBJET musées falls within a confidential niche market which is developing through new cultural object and gift distribution channels.

For three days, from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th January 2008, covering more than 500 m², some 50 companies meeting the growing needs of cultural and tourist locations for cultural objects and gifts will be present.

Today, 25% of turnover of cultural institutions is made by the sale of objects. Museum shops, heritage sites, tourist offices, tourist information centres are looking for cultural objects and decorative accessories to develop their activity.

This new event accentuates the transversality of MAISON&OBJET. Most buyers in the sector are already visitors of MAISON&OBJET. An expert itinerary has been developed to facilitate visits by players in this sector.
They have access to a conference programme completely dedicated to this booming market.

MAISON&OBJET musées presents:
• companies specialising in reproductions or copies of works of art, on the most varied materials
• companies capable of customising all types of objects for cultural locations (stationery, textiles, ceramics, fashion accessories, etc.)
• companies offering finished products: cultural gifts, early learning games, multimedia products, etc.

A platform that brings together different buyer profiles such as museum shops, cultural, tourist and heritage sites, foundations, Relais&Chateaux, luxury hotels, chambers of commerce and industry, tourist offices, regional councils, advertisers looking for business gifts... and more than 83,000 gift and decoration shops.
