Pitti Immagine Uomo, Lebole comes in three

Lebole is a menswear brand owned by Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A. under the Fashion Division. For fall-winter 2008-09 it introduces the new Oxon line for a young target, devotes a special Zeroquattro label to comfortable sizes, and updates the classic Lebole range. To highlight the distinct characteristics of each, at Pitti Immagine Uomo the brand will present the new collections separately yet all within the same exhibition stand.
On both design and distribution fronts Oxon is an autonomous project. Rich in glamour and style, this fine line of clothing maintains a classic imprint while offering a greater sense of today through fabrics and fits. In particular, the collection captures a cool easy flair with a combination of slimmer fits (exclusively 8” and 7” drops) and innovative fabrics.
As in stretch and chintzed materials, tech cottons, velvets, tone-on-tone microprints for suits, sportjackets, peacoats and pants. All in quiet shades of gray, black, brown and eggplant. Alberto Damian, Director of the Fashion Division, explains: 'On the basis of our longtime experience making Lebole suits, we decided to introduce a more contemporary collection for young men who are beginning to take an interest in dressing stylishly in business clothes'.
The Lebole Zeroquattro label addresses a cross-section of consumers who all while requiring a comfortable fit (4” and 0” drops exclusively) are looking for sure quality, style and value. Thanks also to the use of Italian fabrics, precisely the attributes distinguishing the Lebole lines. 'Our ambition is to meet the needs of an important part of our clientele by providing elegant clothes in the so-called comfortable sizes', says Alberto Damian.
For winter 2008 Lebole makes a clearly fresher statement, presents a simpler selection of clothes. Flanking the classic business/formal range are new casuals: from double-breasted items with muffs and patch pockets, to overcoats with neckwarmers, all the way to nylon jackets and to workpants in warm cottons and foulé wools. In a palette of browns and grays with bright notes of yellow and bordeaux.
