Glam.com, flagship site of media network Glam Media, launched an online contest for budding designers everywhere titled, "Be Discovered: Design A Dress."

During the month of January, designers can submit original sketches of dresses they've designed for the chance to ultimately win a grand prize package of a trip to New York City to apprentice at a fashion house for the day.

A panel of expert judges including, renowned fashion designers Monique Lhuillier and Adam Lippes, celebrity stylist and designer Tina Knowles, Lord & Taylor Divisional Merchandise Manager for Contemporary Sportswear Vanessa Lefebvre, Glam Media CEO Samir Arora, and PR guru Paul Wilmot will choose one lucky winner. The grand prize will include an apprenticeship for a day at ADAM as well as Lord & Taylor gift certificate.

Glam has selected MSN.com to share this unique online fashion experience with access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content where viewers can remain informed on the progress of the contest.

Both MSN.com and Glam.com will host co-branded landing pages to not only keep audience members updated on voting but to also judge profiles, and view dress trends and in-depth interviews with designers. Profiles and bios of the finalists will also be available on both sites throughout the contest.

Glam.com's expert editorial team will then select four groups of eight semifinalists to be featured in a weekly slideshow during February where Glam and MSN readers will have the opportunity to vote each week on their favorite dresses.
