D.C. Metro shoppers to have True Religion collection

True Religion Apparel Inc announced the lease signing for its newest branded store at Tysons Corner Center in McLean, VA. The 1,480 square-foot branded store will showcase the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids, including its signature denim, expanding sportswear, and a full range of licensed product, such as footwear, swimwear, headwear and handbags. The store is expected to open in Spring of 2008.
Tysons Corner Center is the largest center in the Washington, D.C. market and the sixth largest shopping center in the country, spanning more than 2.2 million square feet.
The Center, which recently completed a major redevelopment, encompasses a state-of-the-art multi-plex movie theater, 10 food court eateries, five fine dining restaurants along with more than 300 department and specialty stores including Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Cusp, Coach, Sephora, Urban Outfitters and Apple.
"As the largest shopping center in the D.C. metro area, the Center is an ideal location to introduce our True Religion branded store," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer. "We look forward to making our entire True Religion collection available to our D.C. metro shoppers."
"On an annual basis, the Center attracts more than 22 million visitors and generates sales in excess of $850 million," said Michael Buckley, president. "We are pleased to partner with such a successful shopping destination as we grow the True Religion brand."
