Mr. DeMoulin management style for Magic

Advanstar Communications Inc announced the appointment of Chris DeMoulin as Executive Vice President of the Company's Fashion Group, and President of MAGIC International, a subsidiary of Advanstar, and the world's largest and most widely recognized organizer of apparel industry trade shows.
Mr. DeMoulin will focus on strengthening the alliances between exhibitors and retailers, developing initiatives that drive increased marketplace value, and continually offering customers new opportunities to write business, network and confirm relationships.
Chief Executive Officer of Advanstar, Joe Loggia, is confident that Mr. DeMoulin's experience and customer-centric management style will increase the Company's focus on customer service at every level of the business.
“We know that our customers are the key to success. Both exhibitors and retailers attend the MAGIC Marketplace to form valuable business relationships, and Chris's strong background in developing alliances with both fashion manufacturers and retailers make him the ideal candidate to lead this charge,” he said.
Mr. DeMoulin has extensive experience in the fashion, retail and marketing sectors, and is a long-term customer of MAGIC, having held the role of Senior Vice President, Retail Alliances of Disney's $23 billion Consumer Products Group.
“As a customer of MAGIC and Advanstar's licensing show, I know what tremendous assets they can be to the development and growth of your business,” Mr. DeMoulin said.
