Fashion Business circulates R$ 370 million

"For us Europeans, it is still worthwhile to import from Brazil, because the Euro is stronger than the dollar, and Brazilian fashion, and Brazil, are greatly appreciated by us," he said.

“Good business is done here. Several states come to Fashion Business because here they achieve good results and even greater sales soon after the event due to the contacts they make here.”
Eduardo Eugênio only lamented that Fashion Rio and Fashion Business do not have a structured place, as in São Paulo, and soon there will be a shortage of space for all the brands that would like to participate.
“We spent nearly 30% of our budget to raise the fashion show tents, lounges, media center and this huge business room. We do this every six months, and we know it is not the best way. But Rio does not have differentiated spaces to hold thousands of people who come here on a daily basis over the six days of the event.
We had a beautiful project to be built in this same place, already financed through private initiative, but the public authorities blocked it because some residents questioned its impact on the landscape.
That is very sad, because Rio lacks good places for expos and business fairs," regrets Eugênio Gouveia. Even with the intense heat in the tents, since the generators were unable to handle this rainless Rio summer, attendance set records, and the Fashion Business alone gathered nearly 11 thousand people in the hall.
