New Club Opens Just in Time for Pro Football party season

Sam's Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc, will open a new facility at 2335 Bent Creek Rd, Auburn, AL 36830. The new location marks the 11th Sam's Club location in Alabama.
Grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, January 17. To celebrate the newest Sam's Club location, Auburn Athletic Director Emeritus David Housel is scheduled to appear and sign his book Auburn University Football Vault January 19 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Prior to Sam's Club grand opening for the public, an exclusive tour for the news media is planned at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 15 during which 15 local charities and community organizations will receive grants totaling $42, 000.
Wednesday, January 16, Business Members are invited to attend a breakfast and club preview. New and current business members will have opportunity to learn about employee health insurance, fax-n-pullsm, Gold Key Hours and other services to help their businesses thrive.
“We are excited to serve the needs of the Auburn community with a new Sam's Club,” said Aubrey Morrison, club manager. “We believe existing members in the region, as well as shoppers unfamiliar with warehouse clubs, will enjoy and find value in our selection of fresh foods, brand name electronics and jewelry.
In addition, we expect to be better able to serve the growing number of small businesses in Auburn and the surrounding areas by helping them to cut costs and achieve further success.”
