Art & Antiques premiere art event for Dubai Shopping Festival

Under the patronage of H.E. Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al-Owais, UAE Minister of Culture, Youth & Community Development, and the active backing of the DTCM, 'Art & Antiques Dubai' is viewed as the premiere art event for the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2008, opening in January and running for four weeks.
The fair scheduled to take place in February 2008 is the latest addition to the 'Art & Antiques' branded, Haughton International Fairs events, annually hosted in Europe and America.
Haughton Fairs are considered the top international platforms for the best dealers in the world. These exhibitors will be bringing important and rare pieces to Dubai, including furniture, decorations, paintings, jewelry, ceramics and porcelain and textiles. The fair promises an extraordinary opportunity to see the “best of the best” under one roof.
Discerning art connoisseurs, collectors and industry experts in the UAE have embraced the decision to host this major art and antiques event in Dubai, viewing it as an important addition to Dubai's significant array of international and high profile art events.
The fair is the first of its kind to take place in the region and it is widely anticipated to position Dubai as a top international destination for art and antique collectors.
