FENIN encourages textile & ready-made products export

ABIT, through Texbrasil, a program to encourage exportation of Brazilian textile and ready-made products developed together with Apex-Brazil, brought to FENIN tem international buyers.

Among then, Juan Carlos Cardona, the owner of the brand Styloide, from Colombia, who was in Brazil for the first time to see Brazilian companies.

"I came looking for jeans wear and casual wear ready-made clothiers who could do a private label. However, despite there are good clothes here, few of them work as a faction. Most of them have their own brand.

But I have some companies which we will be getting in contact and talk about prices". For, Mercedez Gonzales, a buyer from New York, FENIN overcame expectations. "I research and do businesses for several segments in the USA.

When I was invited to come to FENIN, I thought I would find two or three companies to meet the needs of my clients. However, I selected more then ten companies to continue talking over the internet, because I liked their products.

With my clients' approval, business will be closed. I did not have problem with the prices, once these are clothes that have design, creativity, they are very different. My clients already pay for that".

The American buyer praised the presence of big-size ready-made clothiers, especially underwear. "The lingerie is beautiful, well made and in very big sizes. This cannot be found in fairs around the world. And, 56% of the American population is overweight".
