LJ International announces continued listing on Nasdaq

LJ International Inc (LJI) a leading jewelry manufacturer and retailer, announced that it has received a notice from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel (the "Panel") indicating that the Panel has approved the Company's continued listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market, subject to the condition that, on or before March 28, 2008, the Company informs the Panel that it has held its annual shareholders' meeting.
As previously announced, the Company intends to solicit proxies as soon as possible and hold its annual shareholder meeting on March 14, 2008.
