La Senza Lingerie, the ultimate shopping destination for a vast array of exclusive high quality branded lingerie, is in deep problems.

The company's sheer black baby-doll lingerie set made of 100 percent polyester with a marabou feather trim was recalled after testing by the federal agency.

Health Canada, the Federal department responsible for helping Canadians maintain and improve their health, while sampling and testing program revealed that marabou trim used on the lingerie exceeds the allowable limit of flammability for clothing textiles.

The lingerie could easily catch fire and cause serious burns to consumers if exposed to a heat source such as a candle, cigarette lighter or stove burner.

Till now, around 760 units of black baby-doll lingerie were sold at La Senza stores accross Canada. However, no injury mishaps have, yet, been reported.
