FIT received nearly nine thousand visitors from diverse regions of Brazil, which represents a 5% increase when compared to the number of storeowners present at the last fair for the same period.
In its 30th edition, the fair is the main one of its sector in the country and it is already part of the fashion business calendar.
It is considered a meeting place for segment buyers to do good business and check out the novelties and trends that will be present in the stores this fall/winter.
The infant clothing market has a share of about 15% of the Brazilian apparel segment. At this edition, FIT reached sales expectations of around R$ 110 million (a 10% increase compared to last winter's edition) over the four-day event in a single space and with nearly 135 exhibiters.
Next FIT 0/16, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, is already scheduled. It will be held June 24-27, 2008, when the event will hold its 31st edition introducing Spring-Summer novelties.
