Italian design to come care of Accademia Reale e Costume

The forthcoming Body Look, Germany's only international trade fair for body, beach and legwear held as part of the Igedo Fashion Fairs from 10 to 12 February 2008, will see 230 exhibitors and brands from 27 countries occupying Hall 15 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.

The exhibitors will come from Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

This means international collections now account for 47% of the lines on display and their proportion is 12 % higher compared to the previous summer event. Project Director Sabine Schommer: “We are pleased that we have been able to increase the number of international exhibitors at this year's February event once more.

With our new Lounges concept we will continue to sharpen our profile and even better meet the demands of both exhibitors and visitors. As always, we will also be organising various events to offer the sector great information and communication opportunities.”

Lingerie and Corsetry Segment:
In addition to German market leaders such as Anita, Felina and Nina von C. the lingerie and corsetry segment also boasts resounding international names including Daniel Hechter Lingerie, Parah and Sariana.

Furthermore, Body Look has managed to win over first-time exhibitors like Alba and Uonelle from Italy and the sports underwear supplier Ortovox.

Design collections from Eastern and Western Europe are presented by Magdalena Buchalov from Poland, Irina Arlaschra and Eugeni Petrov from Bulgaria and M & B from Portugal, to name but a few. Italian design will come care of the Accademia Reale e Costume.
