'Children's glasses – children and their vision'

On Friday, February 22, the gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre open for the biggest and most important trade fair of eye optics, optometry and ophthalmology in Central Europe - OPTA 2008.

For visitors, this year's OPTA is the biggest of all its runs held over the fourteen years of its history. The largest exhibition area in the fair's history (in the V Hall) will present 240 companies from 26 countries of the world, all presenting the latest trends and innovations in this industry.

The presented products will include glass and contact eye lenses, special appliances for the examination of eyesight, as well as, and mainly, lens frames and sunglasses. The highlighted topic for this year is “Children's glasses – children and their vision” The OPTA fair represents the only opportunity in the Czech Republic and Slovakia where the innovations and latest products of eye optics, optometry, and ophthalmology can be seen.

What can be seen at the OPTA fair?
The corporation Rodenstock CR s.r.o. plans to present a new collection of lens frames of Rodenstock and Porsche Design. There will be also innovations in progressive eye lenses Rodenstock - Multigressiv MyView and Progressiv PureLife.

The exhibition stand of Metzler International s.r.o. offers, among other things, Polaroid dioptric glasses, as well as “Limited Edition” – exclusive titan sunglasses made by Longines. The highlighted topic of the fair – Children and their vision – represents an opportunity for Metzler International s.r.o. to exhibit NiGuRa KIDS and Red & Mad children's glasses.
