PRAI Beauty to have a wonderful partnership with QVC

Cathy Kangas, CEO and founder of PRAI Beauty and “Scent of a Woman” fragrances, announced that her exclusive line will proudly join QVC in Great Britain, with a debut at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Cathy's products are among the fastest growing high-end skin care and fragrance entries in the world.

QVC is the home shopping channel that reaches over 21 million homes throughout Great Britain.

“I'm so thrilled to return home and to be able to share the magic of my PRAI Beauty and Scent of a Woman formulas with ladies of the U.K.,” said Cathy, a U.K. native who moved to New York to join Revlon in 1983. “Our wonderful partnership with QVC will enable us to reach women from Scotland, to Ireland, Wales and all over England.

“These are great products helping women around the world to `have the skin they've always dreamed of' and fragrances that we call `man magnets'!,” she added.

“These are exclusive formulas utilizing the PRAI root extract found in the jungles of Thailand that has been used by Thai royalty for centuries to magically smooth and nourish the skin. And the Scent of a Woman fragrances are renowned for being remembered. Boy, are they remembered!”

Cathy, whose father Roy Stephens was CEO of Selfridges, also announced her “Beauty with a Cause” program wherein she will donate a portion of her U.K. profits to animal welfare organizations.

Cathy said animal welfare is a huge part of her life. Cathy donatespartial proceeds of all beauty products to animal causes around the world. In the U.K., these include the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) and The Brooke, the UK's leading overseas equine welfare charity.
