Going Green: Which Sustainable Package Is Right for Your Beauty Brand? Green packaging is hottest topic, but how do you know which materials are truly sustainable? Going Green, the educational conference hosted during Cosmoprof North America, will feature industry experts from leading brands with advice on green packaging and how to select genuine sustainable packaging.

This conference is a must attend for small and medium size manufacturers competing in the beauty field facing the realities of marketplace and shifts in consumer attitudes.

Going Green Presenters:
John Delfausse, Vice President of packaging for The Estée Lauder Companies and Chief Environmental Officer for its packaging team is responsible for global packaging for the Aveda, Origins, and Clinique brands.

As Chief Environmental Officer, Delfausse looks for ways to produce environmentally friendly packaging for each Estée Lauder brand.

Delfauss has successfully increased the levels of postconsumer recyclate (PCR) in Aveda’s packaging, which is now at groundbreaking PCR levels of 80 to 100%. Delfausse is also a founding and executive committee member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition.

Gina Garrubbo is the CEO and co-founder of Natural Beauty Innovations LLC and the natural personal care product brand, Terralina.
