Utkarsh 08 sends thrilling vibes in tech academy

The annual fest of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Adityapur, Jamshedpur, commenced on February 22. Loaded with entertainment and frolic, the event was the most awaited occasion for the students.
Extending over a period of three days, Utkarsh 2008 is an annual event of the engineering college which allows participation of students from all four batches who are pursuing a degree from the college.
The fest saw participation by teams from NIT, Durgapur and Raipur and a few other technical institutes from Kolkata.
Initiated with an objective to bring out the innate skills of the students, the fest was organized by the Technology Students' Gymkhana.
T-Shirt painting was the main highlight for first day, spreading excitement among tech-savvy students. In addition to this, a fashion show also kept the participants and visitors thrilled as exclusively designed garments were brought down the ramp by sizzling models.
