12 finalists from Casting Calls to participate in Fashion Show

After six casting calls and two lively rounds of online voting, Lord & Taylor announced last Friday the twelve finalists from NEXT YEAR'S MODEL The 2008 Lord and Taylor Model Search that will participate at a Fashion Show on the 10th Floor of its Flagship store, March 6th, 6PM.
Two would-be models will be selected by a panel of industry experts to be part of the Lord and Taylor's Spring 2009 advertising campaign.
More than 70,000, generated buzz and excitement for the process of selecting the twelve semifinalists, two from each of the casting calls held in six Lord and Taylor stores early in February.
They are: Lauren Connolly and Charles Alix Bien-Aime, from New York City, New York; Rinette Pradhan and Yasmine Lewis from Garden State Plaza, Paramus NJ; Ashlyn Chesney and Matt Reineck from Prudential Center, Boston, MA; Dyvaun Clark and Alexander Kouts from Chevy Chase, Washington, DC; Ricellys Duggal and Jennie Samson from Eastchester, Scarsdale, NY; and Meredith Chinkel and Richard Boehmcke from Garden City, NY.
The finalists will be presented to the judges and the guests attending the event by celebrated TV personality Robert Verdi.
They will appear twice on the catwalk to showcase Lord and Taylor's Spring collections among a group of seasoned New York models.
Industry experts, including Carol Alt, Supermodel, David Lipman, Chairman of LIPMAN, the advertising agency responsible for Lord and Taylor's much talked about $10 Million branding campaign, and LaVelle Olexa, and Lord and Taylor's SVP Advertising, Sales Promotion and Public Relations, will be among the judges who will select the two winners of NEXT YEAR'S MODEL The Lord & Taylor Model Search.
