MIJM organizes symposium on gems & jewellary

Gems and jewellary industry is flourishing in like never before all over the world. There is a huge requirement for skilled professionals. To meet the current demand, Manipal Institute of Jewellery Management (MIJM), is organizing a one day workshop on 'Gem and Jewellary for Women', tomorrow.
The session will take place at, Dr T M A Pai Planetarium seminar hall. Ms Vasanthi Pai, Chairperson, Manipal University hostel management committee, will inaugurate the programme. Dr Raj P Warrier, Vice-chancellor, would be the guest of honour and other dignitaries like Dr H S Ballal will preside over the function.
This seminar will help to make people aware of various stages of development jewellary has gone through over decades. Here, experts from Mangalore and Udupi will impart their knowledge of identifying good quality gems with participants.
An exhibition of silver jewellary will also take place at the venue simultaneously.
