'Gems of Time Invitational' from Florida based retailer

East Coast Jewelry, Florida's premier retailer for gems and timepieces, will present its inaugural Gems of Time Invitational.

Kicking off Gems of Time will be a cocktail party at the Setai Hotel South Beach on Sunday, March 16, with special guest Romero Britto. Sponsors for the evening are the exquisite timepieces of Vacheron Constantin and Venue Magazine.

The next day, Monday, March 17, at La Gorce Country Club, 5685 Alton Road, Miami Beach, will be an all-day series of events featuring baubles, bubbles, beauty, bikinis and an ECJ Golf Classic, with a fabulous scoreboard sponsored by Dewitt timepieces.

Starting at 10:30 a.m. guests can shop the world's most exclusive designers at the East Coast Jewelry Village. Participating vendors include Jacob & Co, Ulysse Nardin, Corum, Krieger, Dewitt, Hermes, Perrelet, Glashutte, Maurice LaCroix, Ebel, Leo Pizzo, Vertu, Hysek, Christian Dior, Zenith, Girard Perregaux, Vacheron Constantin, U-BOAT, Daniel Roth and de Grisogono.

Adding to the buzz will be the preview of several pieces being debuted at Basel World 2008, Switzerland's exclusive watch and jewelry show taking place in April.

Fashion aficionados can enjoy the latest collections from Teso Furs and jewelry and watches from de Grisogono over lunch, or a late afternoon informal show of Vicky Moreinis Women's Swimwear and Nautica swimwear for men.

Those who prefer sports to shopping can take to the links with celebrity pro golfers Brett Quickley and Nicholas Thompson.

Culminating the day will be an informal reception with former Miami Dolphins player Louis Oliver, who will serve as the overall Master of Ceremonies for the 2-day event.
