Splash wins Third Annual Retail ME Awards 2007

Fashion retailer scores the award for the second consecutive year. Held under the patronage of Sheikha Lubna Bint Khaled Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, the Third Annual Retail ME Awards 2007 couldn't be more special for leading fashion retailer Splash which bagged the “Marketing Campaign of the Year” award for the second consecutive year in a row.

The awards ceremony which took place at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel saw the Landmark Group pick up two other awards. Micky Jagtiani, Chairman of the Landmark Group won the Retail Personality of the Year and the Landmark Group won the award for Middle East Retailer of the Year.

The prestigious award was received by Splash's CEO Raza Beig who accepted the award along with the entire Splash management team who were present that evening. He said “Winning the award for the second consecutive year is an honor and a humbling experience for us.

I would like to thank my entire team, our agencies, media partners and associates and of course our loyal customers who we believe contribute greatly to our every success. Marketing is a promise and at Splash our single-minded objective is to deliver that promise as best we can.”

Attended by some of retail's most high profile delegates, the Retail ME Awards is instituted to recognize retail excellence in the Middle East.

Judged by industry experts who are chosen for their business acumen, knowledge and experience of the global and Middle East retail markets, the Retail ME Awards is a successful event that pays tribute to firms that have outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
