“Mystique” by Renu Tandon effortlessly portrayed an elegant collection by meticulously using feminine cuts, harmonious folds and beautiful materials.
The designer has coupled simplicity with a strong sense of mystery. Her collection was a complete presentation wherein she had something to offer for a varied age group of women of who has evolved and recognizes her own potential.
The silhouettes showcased on the ramp were long tunics and maxis, complemented with a range of jackets and achkans. Kaftan cuts and flowing georgette gowns in marble prints teamed with high boots completed the look.
Completely embroidered and marvelously constructed long coats worn over fitting churidars were simply splendid and very fetching.
Renu's colour palette dominating this exuberant collection were purples, pinks in different shades, vivacious plums, lilacs, lavenders and black with a hint of red thrown in for some of the ensembles.
The embroideries were tastefully executed in lovely colour combinations and were delicately intertwined in the line to achieve precision on fabrics like chiffons, satins, wool and tweeds.
The collection encompassed the designer's vision and exhibited a rare flair to capture the essence of femininity and has displayed her single-minded devotion to her work.
