The fashion frenzy continued in Belfast as the award-winning fashion event, West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK, hosted 10 fashion shows in one week, with almost 3000 audience members coming along to watch the event. Top fashion model Sophie Anderton jetted in from London to kick start proceedings for Firetrap and local retailer Clockwork Orange.

Sophie Anderton, commented, 'Belfast is a tremendous city with such vibrancy and I'm delighted to be returning to launch and model at West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK. There's a great line-up for the schedule which is sure to be a fun filled week'.

The week long event, which has sold out for the past four years, showcased a fabulous sneak preview of Spring fashion from a mixture of high street brands and luxury designer boutiques and featured collections from leading retailers including Miss Sixty, French Connection, Karen Millen, Oasis, Warehouse, Coast a|wear and Benetton.

The city's best fashion and design students wowed the sell out crowds with their innovative and fresh designs in the finale shows while local designers such as Deborah K and Una Rodden and our most chic independents including designer emporium CARTER, luxury lingerie store Roxbury & McQueen and award-winning store Liberty Blue filled a sell out show of designer labels.

CastleCourt retailers such as Designers at Debenhams and Dorothy Perkins filled the Friday shows with guest hostesses Fiona Hurley and Angela McCarthy, both former Miss Northern Irelands.
