Lux Temptation inspires Manish for the most tantalizing designs

A video featuring Bollywood's beauties and giant screens edged in silver set the mood for an unconventional fashion presentation.
When the beauty soap to the stars and the Badshah of design in Bollywood come together, the result is a show of such an ultimate glamour quotient that it leaves the audience breathless.
Manish Malhotra's haute collection inspired by Lux Temptation, the beauty soap of Bollywood stars; was a line of über creations.
Working around the colours of Lux Temptation – strawberry cream and peach cream Manish opened the show with a stunning cream figure hugging satin jersey gown with glittering rhinestone shoulder straps on super model Jesse Randhawa.
What followed were a line of the most tantalizing creations ranging from sexy blouson minis, to shaded corset gowns, halter blouses, plunge neck tunics, silver hot pants, gold mini skirts, pleated and crimped micro minis, sheer shirts and Lurex resort gowns.
Primarily sticking to the Lux Temptation colour palette, Manish added some hot hues like saffron and red. The favoured embellishment was rhinestone straps for the neck, armholes and on the seductive backs of the gowns.
In a show stopping collection it was difficult to pick winners but the red rouched draped mini with a sequined hemline; the cream diamante strapped mini and the saffron jersey gown were some of the beauties.
Men's wear was restricted to six trendy jackets in stripes, silver, and velvet all cut in very lean silhouettes. The show stoppers a silver spangled mini; proved that Manish Malhotra had created a line so glamorous that every woman will want to own it.
