L'Oreal promotes Stephane Faverie to GM, Giorgio Armani Beauty

Valerie Chapoulaud, President of the Luxury Products Division of L'Oreal USA, announced the promotion of Stephane de la Faverie to General Manager, Giorgio Armani Beauty.

"Stephane is a well-respected executive within the L'Oreal Group whose leadership and global vision make him an excellent choice for this role.

I am confident that along with his team, the Giorgio Armani Brand will continue its growth and success in the United States market."

Mr. de la Faverie brings over ten years of experience within the L'Oreal Group, in both operational and developmental roles. He began his career in 1998 within the Lancome International Division in Paris.

In 2001, he joined the Travel Retail Division as Area Manager for the Luxury Products Group, North America, overseeing the Lancome, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Biotherm beauty brands.

Soon after, Mr. de la Faverie was appointed General Manager, Lancome, Australia and in 2006 joined Lancome USA as Vice President, Marketing, overseeing both the Skincare and Fragrance categories.

Giorgio Armani Beauty is a division of L'Oreal USA's Luxury Products Group. Headquartered in New York City, L'Oreal USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of L'Oreal SA, one of the world's leading beauty companies.

In addition to corporate headquarters in New York, L'Oreal USA has Research and Development, Manufacturing and Distribution facilities across eight states in the U.S, including New Jersey, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Illinois, Ohio, Colorado and Texas.

L'Oreal's impressive portfolio of brands includes Lancome, Giorgio Armani, Shu Uemura, L'Oreal Paris, Garnier, Vichy, Biotherm, La Roche-Posay, L'Oreal Professionnel, L'Oreal Technique, Kerastase and The Body Shop.

The U.S. is the base for the product development, international marketing and advertising for L'Oreal's nine American brands: Maybelline New York, Soft-Sheen. Carson, Kiehl's Since 1851, Ralph Lauren, Redken 5th Avenue NYC, Matrix, Mizani, PureOlogy and SkinCeuticals.
