Synonymous with exquisite tailoring and stylish separates, Planet's new collection contrasts fluid, feminine shapes with more structured tailored pieces.
Planet offer a style to suit any occasion with an abundance of dress shapes, from hankerchief sleeve and tea dresses to tunic and baby doll dresses.
From graphic and abstract to florals, prints dominate the range and create fresh and inspired looks. All the prints are designed in-house and are exclusive to Planet.
The bold tree bark print is shown in the classic jersey dress, while the zebra inspired tunic dress, with coordinating umbrella, creates a dramatic statement.
The floral trend is echoed throughout the collection with a long, floral print tea dress with crochet trim and matching top, which offers a feminine and modern romantic look.
Oriental inspired florals are also picked up in exquisite embroidery adorning knit wear and twin sets while oriental prints skim the edge of skirts and dresses.
A highlight of the range is the black baby doll dress with floral rosette applique which when paired with opaque tights and heels offers a 1940's evening look.
Providing a bold contrast, a monochrome palette is key this season too and for the first time, Planet has introduced stretch jeans in both black and white. The black and white printed mac is dramatic and stylish and is sure to transform any dreary spring day.
Planet plays on their tailoring techniques and showcases two new jacket shapes this season: a high collared jacket in lime and a black and white linen cropped jacket with flat square buttons and lampshade sleeves which is a nod to the 1960's.
Planet look to Africa for inspiration for high summer with both animal and tribal inspired prints, detailing, embellishment and rich adornement.
Traditional methods such as macrame and ombraid, as well as dip dyeing and batique techniques have been updated to create a vivid and show-stopping appearance.
