Prime Outlets St. Augustine to open in November

Prime Retail, one of the largest developers of outlet centers in the country, and a member of the Lightstone Group, announced the company began a 90,000 square foot exterior expansion at its popular Prime Outlets - St. Augustine, Fla, location.

The project will include three major changes:
1. The expansion will increase the size of the property by 35 percent. When complete, Prime Outlets St. Augustine will feature approximately 90 new and remerchandised stores with a gross leasable area of 340,000 square feet.
2. Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH will be the new anchor for the center and will introduce a 28,000 square foot prototype store design.
3. The interior and exterior of the center's existing space will be renovated and will include an updated 400-seat food court. Prime Outlets St. Augustine, located at I-95 and State Road 16 in St. Augustine, Fla., serves markets including St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Daytona.

The expanded center is slated to open in November 2008 and will bring leading designer and brand-name stores including kate spade, Lucky Brand Jeans, Ann Taylor Loft and Juicy Couture to the popular shopping destination.

Guess Factory Store and BCBGMAXAZRIA Factory Store will also open larger store locations at Prime Outlets -- St. Augustine as part of the property's renovation.
