Dresses, blouses, coats and overalls were elaborated for the winter of 2008. Cotton knits, tricoline and taffeta are part of the brand's fabrics, which used browns, grays, purples and metalized hues.

"Cassava" was the theme chosen by the Mar Del Castro beachwear brand. The brother and sister, André and Raphaela Castro, recovered the Farinhada, one of the most awaited festivals in northeastern Brazil to develop the collection.

The pieces receive cuts that go from the basic to the daring, with technological fabrics. Bikinis and swimsuits appear in differentiated models, with a highlight for deep necklines. The cups are structured.

The collection also suggests caftans, dresses, tops and bermudas. The swim trunks receive details in Lurex and appear in a mix of fabrics in the same piece. Plaids are found in some prints.

The cassava crop suggests the colors of the pieces: tapioca white, cassava flour yellow, cassava leaf green, tuber brown and sky blue.

Mar Del Castro worked in partnership with the NGO INDS, which trains and professionalizes artisans in the interior of Ceará.

Soon thereafter, the Mexican brand Trista made its debuts on the Dragão Fashion Brasil catwalks with the theme “first dream”.

Stylists Giovanni Estrada and José Alfredo Silva produced pieces in limited editions for men and women. The shape can be full or tight fitting.

The brand's idea is to develop practical pieces, such assmall jackets and wool suit coats or complex lace and silk dresses. Jeans can be found in overalls, pants and skirts. Colors: red, orange, yellow, blue and rose.

Stylist Walério Araújo concluded the day of fashion shows with his "Carnaval chic" collection, presented in November 2007, at the Casa de Criadores, in São Paulo. The proposal is to combine the glamour of classics with Carnaval costumes.

The pieces can be tight-fitting or full, with a color chart that includes black, gray, pink, green, blue, red and copper. Walério Araújo used taffeta, jacquard, gazar and feathers.
