Kingston University bags BFC Portfolio Award

Lauretta Roberts, editor of Drapers and judge, said “It was really interesting that all the judges thought there was one stand-out university this year, showing that in this instance, buyers, designers and press were all looking for the same thing.
I am so pleased that Drapers were once again able to show our support for the fantastic creative talent in the UK's colleges.”
Elinor Renfrew, leader of fashion courses, at Kingston University said of their success “We realise that the competition is tougher every year and being here amongst representatives for the best British talent is a real accolade for Kingston University. The judges knew what they were looking for and we are really pleased to have been able to represent our students.”
Anne Tyrrell, Colleges Council Chair and judge commented “I'd like to feel that the Colleges Council could provide a stepping stone to work experience and internships to complement the career paths of our talented graduates. Today has been a great step forward.”
