New Designers is the foremost event in graduate design showcasing the work, energy and talent of some 4000 designers every July at the Business Design Centre, London N1.

EVENT: New Designers 2008
VENUE: Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 0QH

DATES: Part 1 – 3-6 July: Contemporary Applied Arts, Ceramics & Glass, Textiles, Fashion & Accessories, Jewellery & Precious Metalwork

Part 2 – 10-13 July: Product Design, Furniture Design, Illustration and Animation, Graphic Design & Interactive Media, Photography, Spatial Design (Architecture, Interior Design, Theatre Design & Model Making).

TIMES: Thursday to Saturday 11am-6pm; Sundays 11am-4pm

TICKET PRICES: Pre-booked on line at www.newdesigners.com or telephone bookings from mid April on 08448 480136: £9.00 + £1.50 booking fee; £13 on the door.

New Designers is the foremost event in graduate design and, fulfilling its annual promise, New Designers 2008 marks the emergence of the year's brightest talents presenting their unique and fascinating degree work.

The show is exciting, surprising, and vibrant – a hotbed of smart thinking and original ideas brought together in the dynamic environment of the Business Design Centre.

Not only does New Designers launch the careers of some 4000 newly qualified designers, but it also unveils the design stars of the future.

In the two part exhibition there is jewellery, textiles, fashion accessories, applied arts, furniture, product design, architecture and graphics, and that is just the starting point.
