Glamour world eagerly waits for a new Teen Queen

Trinidad & Tobago is all set to welcome the most beautiful and ravishing teens from 25 countries, who will be participating in 'Miss Teen Worldwide Pageant', scheduled from June 15 to 21 here. The country is honoured for the second time to host one of most prestigious and glamorous events of the fashion world.

This year the fierce competition has categories including National Costumes, Swimwear, Talent, Evening Gowns and Intelligence Contests and a National Gift Auction and Fashion Presentation.

The two major events before the grand finale on June 21, include official presentation of the delegates and pre-judging of best National Costume, Talent and Intelligence, to be organized at Rudranath Capildeo Learning Resource Centre Auditorium in Couva.

The rehearsals for larger than life performances have already begun, as eminent artists like Shurwayne Winchester, Denyse Plummer, Bunji Garlin will perform at the sumptuous show at World Select Gem Auditorium HCU Convention Centre, Freeport on June 21.

The most stunning and gorgeous teen will walk away with the title of 'Miss Teen Worldwide 2008' along with nearly US $25,000 as prize money. She will also get an opportunity to become the representative to voice out the problems of the teens world over, by participating in fund raising events to take place in various parts of the globe. During her reign, Miss Teen would visit South Africa, Canada, US and TT.
