Rajesh Exports bags export order from Lazorde Jewellery

Rajesh Exports Ltd has informed that Rajesh Exports secures Rs 534 Crore export order from Kuwait-based Lazorde Jewellery.

About Rajesh Exports Limited
Rajesh Exports Limited (REL) is the largest gold jewellery manufacturer in the world, and the country's largest exporter of gold jewellery. The Company's manufacturing facility at Bangalore brings together state-of-the-art technology with fine Indian craftsmanship. For the year ended March 31 2007, REL had achieved a sales turnover of over Rs. 6893 crores, and a PAT of Rs. 101.28 crores.

The Company is listed on the BSE and the NSE. The Company has a strategic alliance with an Australian Government-owned gold mining and refining company and is the only mines-to-customer operation in the world. Rajesh Exports Ltd. has earmarked Rs. 450 crores for building a retail network in India, commencing with the recently established 30 strong Laabh store network. After the launch of the Shubh Muthoot Gold coins retail venture with the Muthoot Pappachan Group, the next major retail venture is the setting up of the Shubh Jewellers retail chain of 100 stores across South India.
