Springfield unveils Spring-Summer collection

The collection has been further detailed out by the use of feminine and fashionable silhouettes playing with gatherings and volumes, big buttons and patterned trimmings, soft faded finishing, English embroidery and more. Colours that dominate the collection are shades of blue, mixed with lot of white, a softly faded red and a fresh yellow.
CROSS CULTURE – The collection draws inspiration from elements across the world. It comprises colors and print elements from African, Asian, American and Indian culture apart from the aborigines of New Zealand and Australia.
Ethnic influences, colorful over prints and detailing give this collection a new summer look. O-lines and egg-shapes dominate the silhouettes.
MINIMALISM – Inspired from the 60s, A-shapes and baby doll silhouettes are the key elements. Clean fabrics, some with shiny surfaces paired with clean colours give a modern urban look. Updated geometrical prints, big buttons, shiny trimmings and bows, all promise to transmit consumers to the 60s.
JUNGLE EXPEDITION – The collection comprises of witty jungle prints, exotic flowers and birds and jungle graphics as well as tropical fruits which promise to add fun and femininity to the collection.
GLAM ROCK– Inspired by the 80s, the collection has bright summer colours apart from Black and grey. The key elements are square shapes for tops and dresses.
Metal details such as lurex and foil prints as well as rivets and diamonds lend the collection the look of the "the 80s party girl". Shiny fabrics like lack and satin have been used for trimmings and accessories.
SMART SOFTNESS – This collection is dominated by white and has a very feminine look and feel to it. Fabrics are dull and washed, some of them transparent, but always very soft and fluent. Draping and gatherings remind one of Greek history. Prints are tonal and floral.
The style elements in the collection are - empire lines, baby doll shapes, balloon effects, and wide belts at waist.
POOL PARTY – The collection is a mix of college and party wear. The outfits are colourful and sexy, but maintain a casual twist. The silhouettes remind you of the 80s.
