Fashion festival to display rich & vivacious designs

Turkish fashion is renowned for its typical style that reflects rich and deep rooted culture. In order to celebrate the western lifestyle that blends with tradition, Galata Fashion Festival will be organized from May 28 to June 1, at Galata Tower, Beyoglu district.

Fashion Designers Association and Beyoglu Municipality jointly arranges this grand show twice a year, in spring as well as in autumn, to boost the fashion sector of the nation, that is still in its nascent stage.

The show this year will display creative works of not only recognized but also budding designers who are putting all efforts to make their presence felt in global fashion circle.

Although, the domestic designers are highly appreciated by the local customers for their experimentation with fabrics and colours, they are not at par with established international designers.

The participants are extremely positive about the outcome of the show, as this event will serve as a meeting ground for designers and potential customers for building future business, which will help the fashion industry to emerge strongly in international market.

The organisers are expecting nearly 10,000 visitors at Galata festival, who will get a chance to witness latest trends that would prevail this season in garments as well as in accessories.
