HRD Antwerp NV has notched another milestone in its global expansion, with the inauguration in India of its Lab Link service. Its logistics partner in the venture is Malca-Amit JK Logistics PVT.

The new service will provide members of the Indian diamond sector with direct access to the HRD Antwerp - Diamond Lab, one of the world's most respected diamond grading institutions.

Diamonds are picked up in Mumbai by Malca-Amit couriers at the clients' offices, and are returned to the clients, with their certificates, after grading in Antwerp.

The HRD Antwerp - Lab Link pick up certification service offer clients the complete range of services provided by the HRD Antwerp - Diamond Lab in Antwerp, including full diamond certificates, fancy colour diamond certificates, laser inscriptions with the HRD Antwerp Certificate ID number inscribed on the girdle, and sealing, which guarantees the association between the stone and the certificate.

The service is also tailored for smaller and medium sized companies that send out parcels of limited size and even single stones.

HRD Antwerp - Lab Link was introduced in Israel in July 2007, and it began operating in Hong Kong in February of this year. Mumbai is the third planned stop in Lab Link's international roll out.
