Designer creations in rhythm with dancers at Furo

Furo, an extraordinary show bringing together creations of designers and dancers will take place at Tel Aviv Port from May 16 and will extend till the end of June.
Although, such collaboration among designers and choreographers has been taking place for quite some time now, it is a rare symbiosis of two very remarkable professions.
Designers like Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Versace are some of the few who have endeavored to design apparels for dancers.
Besides, the main objective was to make dancers look more real and different than they do in their stereo-type ballet dresses.
Each designer has selected a different material to work on and the outcome was fascinating. The event will see a pair of 20 dancers appearing for 45 minutes each one of the duo will exhibit creations by different designer yet reflecting synchronization which is nothing less than a spectacle.
