TTPCDC releases 09/10 autumn & winter fashion trends

The 09/10 autumn and winter fashion trend conference was held on May 7 - 9 in South Taiwan and releasing the trends on May 14 - 15 in Central and South Taiwan.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and conducted by the Textile Industrial Development Bureau under 'the promotion plan of quality fashion design industry'.

The trend forecast conference implemented by the Design Center of Textile Promotion Committee, entered its eighteenth year and releasing fashion trends twice a year from the time of its inception.

The conference by Taiwan Textile Promotion Committee Design Center (TTPCDC) forecasts trends coming one and a half years later and this year it provided the textile industry with professional information on fashion innovation designs synchronizing with international markets on aspects of color, yarn, clothing and styles. This will help the domestic textile and fashion industry get along with global pioneers in the arena.

The 09/10 autumn and winter fashion trends released recently focuses on the main season concept hidden in ecological potential. Trends in this season will give a new design concept and four themes of application direction, including color impression, focus of fabrics, color recommendations, outline form and design.

Secretary-General Huang Weiji of the Textile Promotion Committee believes that the Design Center of the Textile Promotion Committee endeavors to lead the industry, from manufacturing to finished products, in conformity with global market trends.
