Boston-based RueLaLa brings exclusivity to online shopping

Save your gas money on trips to the mall, forget long lines and crowded dressing rooms, RueLaLa.com is changing the way consumer's shop online by introducing an invitation only, online private sale marketplace.

Using a brand new e-commerce model, RueLaLa.com brings the excitement of private sales to life in an online environment. From coast-to-coast, consumers are now able to shop for a range of premium brands at private sale prices from the comfort of their own computers.

RueLaLa.com launches a new Boutique every 2 days. The Boutique features one brand and offers current season merchandise of high-end, lifestyle products at 30%-80% below retail.

Products feature a range of merchandise from best-selling European designers to American favorites, speaking to consumer's love for finding the unexpected.

RueLaLa.com is accessible through membership only. Once a member, shoppers are able to personally invite friends or easily download their address books directly from the site. Members can see accepted invitations and earn $10 every time one of their referrals makes their first purchase.

"Since we have opened our doors consumers have been actively seeking invitations," says Ben Fischman, CEO Retail Convergence Inc.

"Friends are telling friends excited to share the experience and gain credits towards their next purchase. Membership has doubled weekly since the launch with no end in sight."

RueLaLa.com members receive notification of upcoming private sale boutiques at the beginning of the week allowing them to plan their shopping experience around their own busy schedules.
