True Religion Apparel Inc announced the opening of a new branded retail store at Fashion Valley in San Diego, California.

Located at 7007 Friars Road, the 1,744 square-foot branded store will offer shoppers the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids, including its signature denim styles, its expanding sportswear line including knits and wovens, and a full range of licensed product, such as footwear, swimwear, headwear and handbags.

Spanning over 1.7 million square feet, Fashion Valley is a super-regional, outdoor shopping center featuring over 200 stores and restaurants. Largely recognized as San Diego's premier shopping destination, Fashion Valley attracts over 18 million shoppers annually.

Fashion Valley is one of three shopping venues in the world with the combination of Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's.

The center is currently undergoing a remerchandising to include several new luxury tenants, all of whom have chosen Fashion Valley to open their first store in San Diego including Barney's New York Co-Op, CH Caroline Herrera, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, Just Cavalli, M Missoni, Michael Kors and Tourneau.

"We are very excited to announce the opening of our first True Religion branded store in the San Diego marketplace," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer of True Religion Apparel Inc. "Fashion Valley, which is home to some of the finest names in luxury retail, is recognized as San Diego County's premier shopping destination, making it an excellent retail environment to showcase the True Religion brand."

"Fashion Valley attracts more than 18 million shoppers annually. With such strong foot traffic, we are confident our True Religion branded retail store will contribute to the continued growth of our consumer direct segment," said Michael Buckley, president of True Religion Apparel Inc.
