Gander Mountain, the nation's largest retail network of stores for hunting, fishing, camping, boating, marine, and outdoor lifestyle apparel and footwear, products and services celebrates the Grand Opening of its 114th store at 3970 SW 3rd Street in Ocala, FL.

The Grand Opening ceremonies begin on Friday, May 30th, at 8:00 A.M., when world-class archer and Gander Mountain Elite Pro-Staff member, Ray Howell, cuts the ceremonial ribbon with an arrow shot from 30 yards.

Several well-known outdoor personalities will help celebrate throughout the Grand Opening weekend including: Michael Waddell, host of "REALTREE Road Trips" and Gander Mountain's "We Live Outdoors" television programs; veteran BASS elite series touring pro Bernie Schultz; and Captain Mark Nichols, the owner and inventor of D.O.A. fishing lures.

Gander Mountain will be giving away a variety of gift cards and Gander Mountain caps, t-shirts, and water bottles to a limited number of "first shoppers" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The 65,000 square foot store will be a community attraction with its apparel, products and services tailored to Florida's outdoors enthusiasts. Customers will find in the store a broad selection of apparel and footwear, firearms, hunting and fishing equipment as well as archery and camping equipment. Canoes and kayaks will be displayed inside and outside of the store.

The store offers a full range of services including: on-site gunsmiths, an archery lane and full-service archery shop, line winding, and a staff of associates with a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor products carried in the store.
