Ala Moana Center adds 'True' lifestyle brand

True Religion Apparel Inc announced the opening of a new branded retail store in the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Located at 1450 Ala Moana Boulevard, the 1,146 square-foot branded store will offer shoppers the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids, including its signature jean styles, its expanding denim and sportswear collection, and a full range of licensed product, such as footwear, swimwear, headwear and handbags.
Ala Moana Center is Hawaii's premier shopping destination, encompassing over 1.8 million square feet of retail space and home to over 250 stores and nearly 70 dining establishments. Ala Moana, which is the world's largest open air center, is in the final phase of a major expansion which will include a new two-level retail concourse and the first and only Nordstrom in the state of Hawaii.
The center features several premium and luxury retailers including Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Prada, Emporio Armani, Chanel and Gucci. Conveniently located just miles from the Honolulu airport and the world-renowned Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana Center provides an upscale, cosmopolitan shopping destination for both local and international shoppers, with more than 42 million shopping visits per year.
"We are very excited to introduce our branded retail stores to the Hawaiian marketplace. We expect that our merchandise, which is infused with our 'Malibu bohemian, hippie chic' perspective, will resonate with the Ala Moana shoppers," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer of True Religion Apparel, Inc.
"Ala Moana was the first U.S. based mall to achieve greater than $1 billion in annual sales and its sales per square foot exceed $1,200 per year.
