Homem & Filhas dedicate 1st day to new talent at Fashion Rio

The Homem de Barro and Filhas de Gaia brands put on their fashion shows on the first day dedicated to new talent at Fashion Rio - summer 2008/09.
Homem de Barro, from Niterói, participated for the second time at the event. Now, inspired on Lost Treasure Island, the brand is more laid-back, young and light.
Short dresses, shorts, bermudas and tunics are among the looks.
Pastel hues predominate. Stylists Marcela Calmon and Renata Salles, from Filhas de Gaia, used the image of a flower breaking out of the concrete as their starting point to create the collection's debut at the fashion week in Rio.
They opted for imperfect, although harmonious modeling. They can be tight-fitting, or tight-fitting with maxi volume on the lower part of the clothes.
Classic rose and stripes as prints. Red, lilac, gray, rose and blue were the main colors chosen.
